Copyright & Intellectual Property
1. Ownership
All intellectual property rights in and to the PEG Restaurant app (“App”), including but not limited to its software, source code, object code, functionality, interface, design, layout, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, trademarks, service marks, restaurant menus, text, descriptions, icons, databases, content, and other materials (collectively, the “Content”), are owned by or licensed to PEG Restaurant (“PEG Restaurant,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), unless otherwise stated.
The App and its Content are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, database, software, and other intellectual property laws.
2. Limited License to Users
Subject to your compliance with our Terms and Conditions, PEG Restaurant grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and use the App and its Content solely for your personal, lawful, and non-commercial purposes.
This license does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.
3. Restrictions
Unless expressly permitted by us in writing or applicable law, you may not:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the App or its Content;
- Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit the App or its Content;
- Remove, alter, or conceal any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
- Download, scrape, extract, or systematically collect Content from the App for commercial or unauthorized purposes;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code of the App, except where such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law;
- Use PEG Restaurant’s name, logo, trademarks, or branding without our prior written permission; or
- Use the App or its Content in any manner that infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property rights of PEG Restaurant or any third party.
4. Trademarks
“PEG Restaurant,” the PEG Restaurant name and logo, and any other names, logos, marks, slogans, or branding displayed through the App may constitute trademarks or service marks owned by PEG Restaurant or third parties.
Nothing in the App or these Terms grants you any right or license to use such trademarks without the prior written consent of the respective owner.
5. Third-Party Content
The App may contain or display content, trademarks, images, products, services, or other materials belonging to third parties. Such materials remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
PEG Restaurant does not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property and will respect applicable rights and licenses governing such materials.
6. User-Submitted Content
If the App allows you to submit reviews, comments, photographs, feedback, ratings, or other content (“User Content”), you retain ownership of the intellectual property rights you hold in that User Content.
By submitting User Content through the App, you grant PEG Restaurant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, modify, publish, and otherwise use that User Content for purposes related to operating, promoting, improving, and providing the App and PEG Restaurant’s services.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the User Content and that its submission or use by PEG Restaurant will not infringe the rights of any third party.
7. Copyright Complaints
If you believe that any Content available through the App infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact PEG Restaurant with sufficient information to identify the allegedly infringing material and the basis of your claim.
We may investigate legitimate complaints and, where appropriate, remove or restrict access to allegedly infringing material.
8. Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights
PEG Restaurant reserves the right to take appropriate legal or other action against any person who infringes, misuses, or attempts to misappropriate its intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of its licensors or partners.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to PEG Restaurant under applicable law.
9. Changes and Updates
PEG Restaurant may update, modify, or replace the App or its Content from time to time without notice. Such changes do not affect PEG Restaurant’s ownership of its intellectual property rights.
